This is a scale
model of a Weapon Station built for trade shows
and presentations. It features a number of
various weapons and devices, such as guns,
launchers and sights. These elements were made
interchangeable in order to demonstrate various
configurations and leave the option of adding
more applications if needed. 1:6 proved to be a
convenient scale for this model - it came out
large enough to operate easily, yet portable
enough to pack and carry.
The model was developed in 3D software. Its
parts and components were rapid prototyped,
which allowed us to put it together in a record
4-days time and meet a deadline which would be
impossible to meet otherwise.
The model is accompanied by a Pelican luggage
type case with customized foam lining.
Right upon its completion this model was
actively used in several events, including 2017
AUSA trade show and earn recognition for its
accuracy and convenience. |
