This is a 1:18
scale model of an MP HMMWV. It represents an
actual vehicle participated in the 1991 Gulf
War, ordered by the veterans and for the
veterans.
The replica based on a die-cast 1:18 scale
model, which was upgraded, repainted and heavily
customized. Customization included sculpted
front seats, from scratch made replica of Mk 19
grenade launcher, backpacks and fuel cans, set
of antennas, friendly marker and other elements.
The model was realistically painted and
decorated with custom decals exactly as they
appeared on the actual vehicle, mounted on a
mahogany base and accompanied by a clear
protective cover.
A total of two replicas were produced. It was a
seldom and pleasant opportunity to honor the
troops. |
